When do sensorimotor insoles make sense?
Sensorimotor insoles are used specifically for postural weaknesses and foot misalignments. They are especially effective for an in-toeing gait – when the foot turns inward while walking – as well as for muscle imbalances and back pain with an orthopedic cause in the foot. They're suitable for adults and children alike.
What the Senso insole does
Unlike a classic supportive insole, the Senso insole actively works together with the nervous system. Proprioceptive elements send impulses while walking that train the muscles and improve posture over the long term. This reduces pain, improves mobility and promotes a natural foot position.
Your path to your Senso insole
Like all our insoles, the Senso insole starts with a dynamic gait analysis. Only once we know your gait and your specific misalignments do we make the insole individually from your negative cast. Many orthopedists and physiotherapists refer patients directly for sensorimotor insoles.
